We were particularly impressed by "Soul of Soil' (whose title in itself reflects the poetic nature of the work)as the director, Ms Yen, was able to combine discussing a vital topic of our times in a delicate and yet unsentimental manner.The protagonists were neither idealised nor 'condemned for their life choices but simply accompanied along their daily lives which - at least for a moment - became ours, too.Her dedication is all the more commendable as we become aware that the documentary took years to make.
